Commodity guides
The seven EUDR commodities
Cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood — the commodities Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 names, and the only ones it covers. Each guide below works through one commodity's Annex I scope, where its supply chain stops being traceable, and how ERWAY handles it. Start with the one you buy.

| Cocoa | Beans through to finished chocolate. Six headings, no exclusions, no changes in July 2026. | Polygons above 4 ha, points below — mostly points, at enormous volume | Cooperative and licensed-buying-company aggregation |
| Coffee | Green and roasted coffee. Soluble coffee joins them from 30 December 2027. | Polygons above 4 ha, points below | The washing station or dry mill |
| Oil palm | Palm oil, kernel oil and a long tail of oleochemicals. Soap derivatives added in July 2026. | Polygons for estates; points for most smallholder plots | The mill, which buys from a catchment rather than from named plots |
| Rubber | Natural rubber and vulcanised articles. July 2026 removes belts, the chapter-40 catch-all and retreads. | Points for most smallholdings, polygons for estates | The collector, before the latex reaches a factory |
| Soya | Beans, flour, oil and meal. Seed for sowing leaves scope in July 2026. | Polygons — almost every soya field is above 4 ha | The elevator and the crush |
| Wood | Chapter 44 in full, all pulp and paper, printed matter, wooden furniture and prefabricated buildings. | Polygons for harvest coupes, plus species and harvest date | The sawmill, and every panel or pulp line after it |
