PPWR packaging inventory

A packaging configuration is the pack as sold, in the markets it is sold in. The same bottle in a second country is the same configuration with a second market, not a second record.

Below the configuration sits the structure Article 6(9) actually assesses: unit, component, material, substance, each with its own evidence and source. Weights roll up and are validated against the declared total, because a bill of materials that does not balance cannot support a declaration — and because every downstream figure, from recycled-content share to dominant material under Annex II Table 4, inherits that error if it goes unchecked.
