Customs classification that decides whether a shipment is a relevant product under Annex I.
What it means
HS is the international Harmonized System; CN is the EU Combined Nomenclature that extends it. EUDR scope is expressed in CN codes in Annex I.
In the regulation
Operators classify products as for customs. If the CN code is listed in Annex I for a relevant commodity, due diligence applies to that product as placed or exported.
